Barn Rules and Regulations 
The management reserves the right to change any policies, pricing 
and regulations listed in this flyer at anytime. 

The term Boarders means anyone who stables a horse with Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch.  All persons who board or ride their horses at Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch are, in addition to the terms and conditions of their respective boarding agreements, subject to the following rules.  These rules may be changed, modified or supplemented at any time. You will be notified in writing of any changes and they will also be posted at the Stables. 

BARN HOURS: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM (Winter months: October-March) 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM (Summer months: April-September) If you need to be on the property outside of the barn hours, please let management know BEFORE coming out. 

RELEASE AND WAIVER REQUIRED: All guests to the Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch property must sign in with management and execute and deliver a release and waiver. 

SAFETY RULES: The following rules are examples of required safety standards and are not an exclusive list: 

  • No boarder or guest may intentionally allow their horse to run loose on the property. Loose horses create a hazard for others. Keep them on a lead line at all times. 
  • While in the parking areas of the Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Misty Farms, around the barn and tacking area, and when in the presence of children and pedestrians, horses must walk. 
  • No horse may be tied to a gate or fence. Only cross ties, tie rings, and hitching posts or in the stall may be used to tie horses. Never tie a horse by the bridle reins. Use proper halter and rope for tying. 
  •  All riders engaged in any jumping activity must wear proper certified jumping helmets with a chin strap.  Bike helmets are not acceptable.  There are no exceptions to this rule. 
  • When operating a motor vehicle on the property, never exceed 10 mph and drive slowly and carefully. 
  • Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring Rive Ranch management has the sole and exclusive right to determine all matters pertaining to safety. Failure to adhere to these rules, or refusal to abide by these rules or any safety request made by the management is grounds for immediate termination of your Boarding Agreement.

HUMANE TREATMENT:  Cruel and inhumane treatment to any animal at Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring RIver Ranch will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of your Boarding Agreement. 

GENERAL:  Please park in designated parking area and in a manner that doesn't interfere with anyone's ability to move his or her vehicle or trailer.  No clinics, seminars, functions, or any other type of group activity may be held on the property unless you first receive the express written approval of Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Misty Farms management. 

CHILDREN: No one shall leave a minor under the age of 14 unattended on the property. At all times, Minors under the age of 14 (herein referred as "Children") must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult. Running shouting, rock throwing and rowdy boisterous behavior is not permitted at any time.  No Children may play in/on the hay bales.  Children must wear certified riding helmets at all times while on horseback.  Minors between the ages of 14 and 18 must have an emergency contact phone number listed in the office if they wish to ride in the absence of a parent or guardian. No Children may jump without immediate adult supervision. 

NO SMOKING: NO SMOKING is allowed in or around the barns.  If you need to smoke, please do so away from any/all buildings and dispose of all cigarette butts properly. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in immediate termination of your Boarding Agreement. 

ARENA USE: There is a 15-minute maximum turnout time for the arena when others are waiting. The time begins when the horse is first let loose. Riders always have priority over turn out horses.  No loose horses shall be allowed in the arena while another horse is present with a rider.  No feeding hay in the arena.  Be considerate of those having lessons. You may share the large arena with them in a manner that doesn't interfere with the lesson. 

DOGS:  Do to insurance stipulations, we are unable to allow outside dogs on this premise. 

GUESTS:  It is the responsibility of the boarder sponsoring a guest to make sure that their guest(s) are aware of and follow the Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch Rules. Anyone not in compliance may be asked to leave the premises. No Guest may handle or ride a horse unless Guest first signs and delivers a release and waiver form to Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch Management. Before any person is allowed to ride a horse which they do not own, a written permission slip from the horses owner must be delivered to Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch management, and that rider must sign and deliver a release and waiver form. 

LEASES: No horse may be leased by a boarder without express, written approval of the Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch management. It is the responsibility of the horse owner to provide the lessee with a copy of the Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch Rules and have each lessee sign and deliver a release and waiver form to Deuces Wild Performance Horses @Spring River Ranch management. 

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:  Are only allowed to be present during an approved organized social function with the written acknowledgement of the Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch management. 

GROUNDS:  It is the duty of every boarder to help keep the property free of litter, clean and organized. This duty requires boarders to clean up after themselves.  Clean up after using the cross-ties, hitching posts and wash racks. Clean up after loading and/or unloading your horse and trailer.  Deposit only manure (and shavings) in designated area.  All other garbage goes in the garbage cans located in and near the tack room.  Heavy or bulk items (metal, wet grain, empty/shavings bags) should be deposited directly into the garbage containers.  Recycle plastic and aluminum in the appropriate garbage cans. 

TACK:  Tack may be stored in the community tack room or in lockers that you provide. You must obtain approval from management before you place any personal lockers on the property.  Boarders are to keep the community tack room picked up and swept.  Do not use anyone's tack without explicit permission to do so. Deuces Wild Performance Horses @ Spring River Ranch is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
